  1. That was a blast, I’ve never heard Peter David speak, he sounds great company. The man is such a talented writer, I’m only sad you didn’t have time to get to his Supergirl work. Still, plenty of meat, and I really appreciate the annotations. That Atlantis Chronicles meteor story was a hoot.

  2. Anj hoped for some Supergirl, too. It was Frank’s first ever interview with a professional, recorded under a tight convention-mandated deadline, but he still feels like a putz for not going deeper into the PAD catalog or at least asking what David thought of the Supergirl pilot/trailer. Obviously, the focus was on David’s early career, but given the chance, we’d love to spend more time with this fellow. Frank did better on his second interview with another of the greatest writers in the history of comics…

  3. Great stuff!
David’s catalog is lengthy so no surprise that you didn’t get to talk about everything. I am sure that many people are lamenting the lack of X-Force talk. I would want to talk about Supergirl but that’s my niche.

But the stuff here was just great. In particular, I love reading the stuff about Jean Dewolff. So fascinating to hear him say that he went back to reread all the fan letters as a way to combat the harsh response to her death.

I didn’t read his Hulk stuff although I have heard about it enough to have a sense about it. I do like that Doc Samson was elevated to something more than background green-haired guy.

And the skull-head meteor story is a hoot.
