Following our looks at Marvel Cosmic, Drax the Destroyer: Earthfall, Annihilation Prologue, Annihilation: Silver Surfer, Annihilation: Super-Skrull, Annihilation: Nova and Annihilation: Ronan we’re ready to end this war upon your ears! From these specials and mini-series came the final eponymous six issue event book from whose soil the seeds for the modern era cinematic Guardians of the Galaxy sprouted! We also open the Marvel Mail Bag and briefly discuss SDCC! Excelsior!

But we’re also continuing the value-adding by looking at the first appearances of the Kree alien race and their Ronan the Accuser from Fantastic Four #64-65 (1967.) The Dogged Duo of Diabolu Frank & Illegal Machine will finish this event, even as a member of the trio has fallen by the wayside! This war must be won! Also, mail. Excelsior! Face Front, True Believers! The universe’s most polyphallicetious Marvel Comics podcast returns to discuss the biggest hit film of the summer not associated with Michael Bay, Guardians of the Galaxy! Join Illegal Machine, Mr. Fixit and Diabolu Frank as they debate the highs and lows of Marvel Studios’ latest blockbuster franchise! While we tried to keep spoilers to a minimum, you’d probably ought to have seen the movie before listening, or at least skip the podcast “chapter” beginning at 16:01, where the majority of plot landmines lie.
